Obituary of Susan Linda Baatje

BAATJE - Susan Linda (nee O’Hara) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, July 16th, 2017 at the age of 56. Beloved mother of Dianna Baatje (Aaron Charby) of Tillsonburg and Anthony Baatje of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandmother of Robert and Alexis Baatje. Susan will be deeply missed by sister Betty Jones (Ted) of St. Thomas; niece Wanda Zufelt, children Taylor and Jared of St. Mary’s; and nephew Warrne Davidson of Australia, children Ryan and Brandon of Barrie. Susan is predeceased by her parents Gerry O’Hara (2000) and Hattie O’Hara (1998). The family would like to extend their thanks to the Elgin Act Team Nurses and Dr’s for their support and the Nurses and Dr’s at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital for their compassion and care. A celebration of life will be held at the SHAWN JACKSON FUNERAL HOME 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Interment of ashes to be held at a later date.
