Obituary of Emily Margaret Campeau

CAMPEAU, Emily “Milly” Margaret (nee Gallotti) - Surrounded by family at Bobier Villa, Dutton on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 in her 75th year. Milly is survived by her children Gordon Campeau, Brenda Campeau (Chris Gordon), and Brian Campeau (Misty) all of St. Thomas and their father Lawrence Campeau of London, as well as Foster son Spencer Lockwood of St. Thomas. Milly was Nonna to Cara Gordon (Trevor Fitzgerald), Sean Gordon, Daniel Gordon, Emily Campeau and Joshua Campeau. She will be missed by siblings Virginia Brady (Richard), Ben Gallotti (late Dianne), Jo Cerutti, Sr. Isobel Gallotti, Ester Lemieux (late Lou), Tom Gallotti (Fran), sister in law Bernice Gallotti and the late Carlo Gallotti. Also survived by many nieces and nephews across Canada. Predeceased by her parents Carlo and Lucia Gallotti of Thunder Bay. She was honorary Nonna to Nathaniel Gordon, Maggie Gordon, Isaiah Gordon, Shari Bishop, Riley Bishop-Hume and Bailey Bishop. Milly was first and foremost a proud mother, Nonna and caregiver to countless children over the years. This included foster children (for over 25 years), neighbourhood children and any child who walked through her door. She touched many lives with love, kindness and her sharp wit, and always had extra room at her table. She spent countless hours volunteering in her community over her lifetime. Our lives are all better because she was a part of them. Visitation will be held at the SHAWN JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Thursday, June 15th, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at HOLY ANGELS PARISH, 502 Talbot Street, St Thomas on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Holy Angels Cemetery at a later date.
