I first met Karen when she and Mike opened Braxtons. She quickly went from being a Boss lady to being a good friend. We shared many laughs and secrets in that food court! Never one for the limelight, she certainly didn't enjoy her picture being taken. I am sharing one from the Elgin Mall ball tournament that shows her trying to hide, but still peeking up impishly at Mike. She loved you, Mike for soooooo many years!! And Christopher, you were the light of her life. What a proud Mama. I can't even imagine how happy she was when you made her a Grandma. Please know how sorry I am for you both, as well as your family. Also sorry for time I let slide by. Biggest of hugs to the Bayne family.
