Obituary of Richard George Parkins

PARKINS- Richard George “Dick” of Valleyview Home in St. Thomas passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the age of 76. Richard is survived by his two sons Darryl “Doc” (Vicki) of St. Thomas and Tom (Jennie) and his son Basil of BC.; by his sister Ann Martin (late Red); and by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his sister Linda Parkins and brother Jack Parkins. Richard retired from White Knight Facility Services and had a passion for trains. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Cremation has taken place and a private interment of ashes will be held in Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery on a later date.
