On behalf of Tonny en Bert Schreuder - Hoogland
“ As an eighteen-year-old boy, John left Holland for a future in Canada. At age thirteen he lost his mom en would carry this burden for the rest of his life. He was a very sensitive man. When we visited him, he was a real entertainer and always sincerely interested in us. Jan, we will miss you and wish your children and grandchildren lots of strength.”

My cousin John came to Canada as a very young chap and worked for my parents on the tobacco farm. Things didn't end well with my dad which is too bad as we lost a chance for a relationship with family! Thankfully I spoke to cousin John and got his take on the situation a few years back. So grateful I did.
I have admired John, what he has done in business, he was a hard working man and was a great family man!
I would like to offer my condolences and under different circumstances join you in celebrating his life.

Dear Bob, Karen and family,
My sincere condolences in the passing of your father. He was kind, supportive and worked with integrity. He had and appreciated a strong work ethic and yet encouraged the family first philosophy. He always inquired after my family and was very caring. Even though we had a business relationship it was very obvious how much his family meant to him. May you all be surrounded by wonderful memories of a man who had such a genuine love for his family.
Hugs,
Margo

Bob, Karen and Family.....so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. He was a great man and we certainly appreciated all the work he and your family did at our house.....he certainly did take pride in a ‘tidy work site’ as did his clients. Hopefully the sorrow today will soon be replaced by all the happy memories you keep in your hearts! Deepest condolences!
