Dear Nikole, Emma, Kaelynn, Jorja, and Maveric,
We don't know each other. I am JJ. My family & I stay in Singapore. I knew Rob, and of your family, through Penny and my brother Michael.
There are no words that I can express that could lessen the pain and loss, so I write to you to offer empathy, and perhaps, some optimism.
As your Uncle Michael can attest, we lost our father too when we were young. Our dad passed away suddenly, leaving my mother alone with four young children... including Michael & I ... we were aged 6, 5, 2, 1 years old at the time. It was hard to comprehend. Of course, this story is not your story, but I believe it helps us understand, maybe, where you are.
Dark as it may be now ... as your grieve & contemplate a different future... my own experiences allow me to offer, perhaps some hope & optimism for you. I believe strongly that ... in the days, week, months and years ahead ... you will each survive this... grow stronger with time, and ultimately thrive... each in your own way. And this will be made possible by the people and friends that surround you, support you and care for you. There will be many. But equally it will be made possible by the grit, perseverance, and strength of character that rises in each of you from such an unfair hardship.
Maybe its too early for hopeful thoughts, but I offer them anyway. I am hopeful for all of you.
We are deeply saddened your loss, and I offer my heartfelt condolences from my family to yours.
Everything I have ever heard and known about Rob is that he was warm, big-hearted, and full of life. I hope you each remember him for all of the best of what he was to each of you.
45 years later, I still love, remember, and miss my father... that never stops. :-)

Hi Robbie im sorry we didn't stay in touch you knew me as Marcy, but I go by Maria now one of the best memories I have is hanging out with Robbie he was good friends with all my brothers we use to hangout at his house and when we needed to catch the bus we would take the shortcut through his parents backyard thats one of the memories I remember there's so much more memories you where a kind person and I miss when we where all young with no cares in the world I will miss you my dear friend ❤ now your in heaven with my brother Nuno say hi for me .
