Our heartfelt condolences to the family of Catherine. I knew her through the Port Stanley and community 55+ club, playing euchre. I loved her spirit and zest for life. My husband met her when delivering, as she was ready to head out on a Monday afternoon to play cards and found out that he worked with her son Allen some years ago.

Such a blessing that Catherine died peacefully in her sleep. She had a good long life, and she will be missed by so many. She made so many quilts for so many, and it seemed she quilted right until she went to hospital. She was always cheerful and had so many stories to tell of how proud she was of her grandchildren. Condolences to you, Deanna, Maxine and Alan from Don and I.

So sad to hear about Catherine. She was a tireless worker in all areas of her life. The skills she taught in 4H are used daily by all members of the clubs she led. She never failed to tell everyone of her grandchildren’s accomplishments. Her smile will be missed by all her friends. God bless you all.
