I miss my father and wish he would have been celebrated with his Children and Grandchilrden included.. I'm forever grateful for the positive loving support from his friends to my Brother and I, also we appreciate the memorial we just received. Sincerely Marlise Mertick.

I will never forget the good times, when Gary and I were younger and spent a lot of time together ,fishing and hunting.
I am sure he loved those days also, as while we were visiting him in the hospital when I mentioned our hunting trips he woke up and joined in the conversation
He will be greatly missed as he left so many memories
He was a special Friend .

Thank you so much Ivan and Marilyn for thinking of us during this time of sorrow. Garry did cheer up at the sound of Woodlake. He loved his hunting and fishing.

Sending our love & condolences To Stella, Caren(& family), Lisa, (& daughters), Robert (& sons), Marlise (& son). Garry was a great friend and we will miss him alot especially when summer comes. Garry & Stella spent alot of summers in Sultan and we sure had some great times & good meals together. Stella is a good friend and we wish her nothing but the best. The Janzen family would like to send our condolences to your family, Edna and Late Cor Janzen have fond memories of Gary, they both always tell tall tales of their their time together at Auto Hallaway BBQ's and other social events outside of work, as children/teenagers we also enjoyed our time at these events Gary always made sure he came over to say hello
Dan and Frank also spoke of Gary how he was a great guy to work along side.
