Obituary of Keith Alexander James Payne
PAYNE- Keith Alexander James Payne passed away surrounded by his family at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the age of 78. Keith is survived by his loving wife Barbara Payne (nee Harper); by his sons Greg (Arlene) and their son Jack of Milton, and Mark (Shannon) and their daughters Sadie and Molly of St. Thomas; by his sisters-in-law Cathy Harper, Bet McGregor (Serge Proulx), and Lois (Peter) Mulligan, and by his nieces and nephews Ryan, Frannie and the late Matthew Mulligan. Keith retired from CN Railway and enjoyed gardening, riding his bike around town, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. The family requests that those who are attending wear a face mask.
