Obituary of Del Daoust
DAOUST- Delphis Leo “Del” passed away peacefully at Valleyview Home in St. Thomas, surrounded by his family on Monday, April 4, 2022 at the age of 81. Del is survived by his loving children Helene Honsberger, Della Rose Ford, and Richard (Selena) Daoust; by his grandchildren Amber Daoust and her son Austin, Danielle (Sean) Bennett and their daughters Lauren and Allie, Megan Villamor, Phillip (Danielle) Nolan, Christina Rose Mitchell and her father Jeff Mitchell, Isabela Nolan, Ethan Ford, Michael Ford and their father Ryan Ford, and Brandon Daoust and Alyssa Daoust; by his siblings Margaret (late Guy) Gauthier, Max (Sandra) Daoust, Bennie (Gail) Daoust, Karen (Rene) Messier, Leo Daoust, Linda (late Danny) Vanier, Andy (Linda) Daoust; by his long-time companion Laurie Nolan; and by many other family and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Art, Johnny and Joey, and by his sister Hilda. Del was born in Espanola, Ontario to the late Leo and Annie Daoust. He enjoyed his career as a cook. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 7:00-9:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
