Obituary of James Richardson Cameron

CAMERON – James Richardson of Port Stanley (Formerly of London) passed away peacefully with family at his side at Extendicare Port Stanley on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Lorena Jean Cameron (nee Fisher). Much loved Dad to his children Scott Cameron of Guelph, Christine Cameron of London, Heather Durnin (Mike) of Auburn and Allison O’Connor of Port Stanley. Loving Grandpa to Jennifer, Laura (Rob), David, Marshall (Michelle), Ethan and Cameron.  Jim is missed by his sister Helen Barron (late George) of Bobcaygeon and by many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Jim had a long career working with the London Free Press as a reporter and City Editor.  Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.  Private interment in Beechwood Cemetery, Forest, ON.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
