Obituary of Geraldine Riley

RILEY, E. Geraldine (nee Schwanz) passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Caressant Care Bonnie Place in her 98^th year.  Beloved wife of the late Homer Riley (1997).  Dear mother of Marilyn Hall (Andy) of Tolstoi, Manitoba, Martin Riley (Kit) of St. Thomas, and Marsha Vero (George) of Sarnia.  Loving grandmother of Karla, Richard, Daniel, Trevor, Laura and Leslie.  Great grandmother of 12.  Predeceased by her parents Wilfrid (1972) and Edith (1989) Schwanz, infant sister Doris Kathleen (4 days, 1924), and brother Carl Schwanz (2017).  Survived by brother Howard and Marilyn Schwanz.  Cremation has taken place.  Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St Thomas (519-631-0570).  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Interment in South Cayuga Cemetery in the spring of 2023.  If desired, donations to Central United Church or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
