ManJoon was always such a radiant, generous, joyful soul. I am grateful for the many days I spent at her home as a teenager, when I was a new member of the Baha'i community. I am grateful that she taught me basic Persian so I could speak it to her grandchildren when they were babies. And over the years I fondly remember many wonderful meals, family gatherings and community events where ManJoon made everyone feel welcome. It was wonderful to hear her beautiful voice singing at the service. I will never forget that voice. May her spirit soar.
