Obituary of Edward King Thomson

THOMSON – Edward King “Ed” of St Thomas passed away peacefully at the St Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the age of 77, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Beloved husband of Carol Anne Thomson (McIntyre).  Cherished father of Michael (Michelle) McNeil, Eilleen (Adam) Buchholz, and Katherine Thomson.  Loving papa of Sarah (Scott) Duncan and Jennifer McNeil, Max and Elliott Buchholz, and Abigail Auger.  The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the STEGH Continuing Care Centre.  Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.  If desired, donations to Hospice of Elgin would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
