Worked with Linda at the EGH and also she was a member of the IODE alongside with me. She was a lovely person and a great nurse. Another alumnae of Elgin General Hospital gone. RIP Linda.

What a special woman! When I was a teen I was going through some very rough things at home and being close friends with Kyle, he knew where to take me, and it was home. His mother gave me a place of safety and shelter from the harm in my life then. She welcomed me into her home as one of her own. She would listen to me for hours over the years, sharing advice and a kind heart, all while offering me something to eat. It felt real, it was. It felt authentic, and it was. I will truly miss you and treasure my memories and the love and acceptance you gave me.

Adrian and family I am so sorry for your loss. Linda was a well-loved co-worker for years at Telehealth. She had an empathic heart when dealing with our callers and was skilled in her supportive role as a manager up until her retirement. Linda's loss is already being felt amongst the Telehealth family. But you know my mom was up there waiting for her, by the fire, drink in hand with a camping chair with Linda's name on it...and not wearing a shirt. They will make plans for flitting through all the gardens in their nightgowns, and they will find joy together again :)
