I got to know Hildred when her first husband (my older brother Art) was dating her while in Bible College. Hildy was always kind to me when I visited during their years of marriage.
As a single young adult in Oakville, Ontario I boarded at Hildred's Uncle and Aunt's home. The Harrisons were a great couple to live with and put up with the inconveniences of a shift worker.. They made me welcome and fed me well.
I remember Hildy's optimism, her love of children and how excited she got making crafts.
