So sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. Both Shirley and Ron loved a good laugh and you could tell by the smiles on their faces, when ever you had a good visit with them. Their dedication to Union Church and always willing to help will be missed. Take comfort in knowing her family was always #1 and she loved to share any news about you. Keeping you all in our prayers and know you have 2 angels watching you all.

There are so many memories. I will always remember her for her love of family. She always had family gatherings for special holidays, Easter, Thanksgiving and of course
Christmas. Then the monthly birthday gatherings.
Shirley loved to laugh and her laugh was contagious. When she laughed, her whole family laughed. She will b deeply missed ❤️

Shirley was a beacon of warmth, with her amiable nature drawing in everyone she met. Her considerate heart and kind spirit were truly unparalleled, forever putting the needs of others before her own. Knowing Shirley through our familial ties and friendships has been nothing short of a blessing. Her existence brightened our lives and will continue to fondly resonate within us all.

I am so sorry to hear about Shirley passing. We go way back ... back to the days I hung out with Sharon Springer, next door to the Dickies, when I worked at Shaws and Shirley was sometimes there at the beginning of my shift and to the last long while at Union United Church where I was the organist until recently. I always enjoyed our chats over breakfasts after church and will really miss her. Deepest sympathy to her family. She dearly loved her family.

Shirley and Ron were two of our favourite people at Union United Church and we had a lot of fun joking with each other when we went for breakfast after church. We missed them when we moved away, but always kept them in our thoughts. Her date cookies were the best ever! She will be missed by so many, but is now reunited with Ron.
