Obituary of Zbigniew Krysztof Molas

MOLAS- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Zbigniew “Ziggy” Molas on August 3, 2023.  He is survived by his two sons Justin and Jeremy (Tess). Sister Lucy (Victor), brothers Adam and Stan. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues who will miss him dearly.  Ziggy’s life started in a small village in Poland where he obtained a university degree in mechanical engineering. He emigrated to Canada in the mid 80’s. In that time, he gained Canadian citizenship and became a professional engineer in the Southern Ontario auto industry. Upon completion of his time in the manufacturing sector, he took up an entrepreneurial endeavour of being an owner/operator in the transportation industry. After a successful run he retired to enjoy his passions, catching up with his sons and feeding his furry friends.  Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 pm.  Words of remembrance will be spoken at 2:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers and in the memory of Ziggy, donations can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.   Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
