Obituary of Hilda Muller

MULLER, Hildegard “Hilda” of St. Thomas passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at the age of 86.  Dearly loved mother of Evita (late Dan) Martindale, Carmen Lewis and Peter (Jackie) Muller. Predeceased by her daughter Gaby (1971).  Much loved grandmother of Christine (Marty) Lewis, Paul Martindale, Kate (Wes) Martindale, Cory Muller (Lindsay) and Hilary Muller.  Great grandmother to Andrew, McKenna, Jackson, Max and Lydia.  Survived by her brother Harry (Louise), sister Jutta (late Erich) in France and sister-in-law Marlene (late Berthold) in Germany as well as many nieces and nephews in both France and Germany.  Predeceased by her parents Erich and Frieda Erdmann, brothers Rudy, Gunther and sister Christa.  Hilda was retired from Therm-O-Disc, St. Thomas where she had worked for 30+ years as a supervisor. She enjoyed needlepoint, playing cards, puzzles, playing computer games and going to the casino.  A special thank you to Dr. Darius Ho, the staff at Royal Oak Retirement Home and staff on 5^th floor of St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital for all your care, compassion and support of our dear mother.  At the request of our mother, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.  A private family gathering will occur on Friday, August 25. 2023 at the funeral home prior to interment at Holy Angels Cemetery.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the STEGH Foundation (MRI Fund) gratefully appreciated by the family.  Personal online condolences can be made at www.sjfh.ca
