Dear Bonnie, Gary, Sheri, Cassidy, Courey, Nicole, Colette, Dwayne, Debbie, Anne and Family,
I am deeply saddened to learn the tragic news of your beloved Darryl. My heart goes out to you and all his family and friends as you grieve the loss of someone so special. He was an amazing person and he touched so many lives with his generosity of spirit, and passion for people and life. Darryl’s greatest joy was you Sheri and his beautiful children and grandchild. Gary and Bonnie, I deeply treasure my memories of our wonderful “Rowcliffe” family gatherings. Please know I am keeping you close in my hearts and wishing you strength and love. Death ends a life, but it doesn’t end a relationship and you will still have a relationship in your feelings, thoughts, memories, and love for him. Within our hearts and in our memories, those we love remain with us always.

Darryl employed me and was my boss for years. Loved him as a friend. Never acted on anger, just said, “Joe, I’m becoming frustrated” His ability to motivate, inspire and uplift one, was significant. Learned much from him. He shared things about his family. Good and great things. I was the last handshake when he left Brose, and I told him, not even one time was he mean or rude in anyway with me, then he walked out the door. Even though I still have no idea what happened to him causing this, he will be remembered as my favorite boss. I will miss his smile or the fact that he will never walk by you with a hand shake. I remember when he educated me on Keto, crazy funny and daily shared his lunch he made with me. Peanut-butter cookies and whatnot. I knew he was destined to have his own business. He was just too good of a communicator. My heart goes out to his great family. Our prayers goes out to you all. He loved camping so much, I will do a camping trip for him. God bless you all.

My most sincere condolences as you work through what must be an incredibly difficult time. Darryl and I had lost contact after I moved out west many years ago but we did reconnect about 10 years back and exchanged some emails in which we were both sharing details of our families and lives and reminiscing about the time we spent together while growing up. Darryl noted how very proud he was of Sheri and his kids and mentioned both of you (his Mom & Dad) on a few occasions. It was our intention to get together with our families when I was back on one of our trips to Ontario. As so often happens, unfortunately, you get busy with life and some things escape you. I will forever regret not making the time to visit with Darryl when back there.
Please know you are all in my thoughts and I hope you are able to joy in your memories of Darryl.

It was always fun growing up on Richmond Street with all the kids but the one memory that I remember from years ago: running around your backyard screaming as Gary chased us (me, Shawn, Dwayne, Darryl & Debbie) with an octopus before cooking it for supper! I laugh now but it was scary as a kid lol

i know its been a while since I have seen you guys and I regret not staying in touch however I have the best memories of our time spent together...especially the ice fishing trip that Darryl, John and I did to North Bay. especially Darryl's hangover on BAILEYS!
