Obituary of Terry Banghart
BANGHART- Terry Edwin Banghart of Grand Bend and formerly of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph’s Hospice in London on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the age of 66. Terry is survived by his loving wife Debra Banghart (nee VanVelzer); his children Rebecca (Brian) Charlton and their daughters Emily and Caitlyn of St. Thomas, and Melanie (Josh) Chapman and their daughter Alexis of Port Stanley; by his siblings Jim (Shelley) Banghart of Union and Roger (Catherine) Banghart of Ayr; his sisters-in-law Barbara (Dwayne) Pyper of Grimsby and Sherri (Rick) Bolt of St. Thomas; brother-in-law Christopher (Sandra) Van Barr of Kinburn; mother-in-law Barbara VanVelzer of Stittsville; and by his many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Cremation has taken place and Debra would like to extend an invitation to family and friends to participate in a celebration of Terry’s life on Thursday, July 28,2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #410, 310 George Street, Port Stanley. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). If desired, donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospice-London, would be gratefully acknowledged.
