Obituary of Ivy Ellaine Sherrah

Ivy Sherrah (nee Woods) of St. Thomas, Ontario, passed away at her late residence in her 81st year, after a short courageous battle with cancer on April 3, 2016. Dearly loved by her children Linda (Shawn), Debbie, Janet (Dewey), Donna (partner Rob) and her dear son Robert James. Predeceased by her daughter Judy. Sadly missed by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She will also be deeply missed by her brother John Woods and a number of nieces and nephews from both sides of the family. Ivy was a member of Holy Angels Parish and a long standing member of the Catholic Women’s League. Family and friends will be received at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels Parish 502 Talbot Street, St. Thomas on Wednesday, April 6 at 10:00am. Interment in Holy Angels Cemetery. If desired, donations in lieu of flowers, may be made to either the Holy Angels Restoration Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
