Obituary of Howard Russell

RUSSELL- Howard Leroy Russell passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the age of 77. He handled his cancer with an undaunted and dignified approach. Howard is survived by his loving wife Audrey Russell (nee Wood); by his children Charlanne Russell (Paul Billo), Mike Russell, Doug (Dawne) Russell, and Jonathan (Siegrun) Russell; his grandchildren Trevor (Sheila), Holly, Marisa, Gabby, Lauren, Ryan, and Luke; his two great grandchildren Lincoln and Abby; his sister Joanne (Don) Anderson; and several other cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Mildred Russell. Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes in South Park Cemetery. A memorial service to celebrate Howard’s life will be held at St. James Presbyterian Church 44936 Ferguson Line on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the memorial service. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).
