Obituary of George Sharp

SHARP - George Frederick of St. Thomas, Ont. passed away at home on Friday, January 1, 2016 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Farnsworth (1996). George is survived by his sister Mildred Boylan of Jackson, Michigan; his brother Ron (Betty) Sharp of London; his niece Vicki Farnsworth of St. Thomas; his nephew Jim (Lyn) Reed of Sylvania, Ohio; and many more nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Isabella Sharp. George had retired from the St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital after 34 years of employment and was a member of New Vision Community Church. The funeral service will be held at New Vision Community Church 38 Aldborough Ave., St. Thomas on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.. Visitation will be held at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). If desired, donations to All Breed Canine Rescue would be greatly appreciated.
