Obituary of Edna Dorothea Sayers

SAYERS - Edna Dorothea Sayers passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the age of 69. Edna is survived by her children Shane Sayers of London, Shawn Paul (Kim Scott) of St. Thomas, Shannon Belvel of St. Thomas, her daughter-in-law Connie Russell of St. Thomas; grandchildren Richard, Gabrielle, Michelle, Julia, Jenna, Jamie, Monica, Michael, Mikayla, and Tristan; her great grandson Vincent Sayers; her sister Alison; and by several nieces and nephews. Edna had retired from GKN Sinter Metals in St. Thomas. Predeceased by her spouse Robert Paul (2014) and her son Brett Sayers (2009). Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 7:00 - 9:00pm, where the memorial service will take place in the chapel on Sunday at 1:00pm. Private Interment of ashes at a later date. If desired, donations to the London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated.
