Obituary of Halina Irene Zambrzycki

ZAMBRZYCKI - Halina Irene Zambrzycki passed away, surrounded by her family, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, July 31, 2015 in her 89th year. Halina will be sadly missed by her daughter Elizabeth (Michael) Hutchin of St. Thomas; her grandchildren Liam Hutchin of St. Thomas, Chandler Pikor of Niagara Falls, and Greg Pikor-Zambrzycki of Calgary; and by her sister Danuta in Poland. Predeceased by her husband Vincent Zambrzycki, and her son Gene Zambrzycki. Halina immigrated to Canada in 1950. She worked for 20 years at Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Polish Canadian Club and Holy Angels Parish. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held on a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). If desired, donations to All Breed Canine Rescue in St. Thomas would be appreciated. Cremation Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held on a later date.
