Obituary of Maurice Brisebois

BRISEBOIS - Joseph Raymond Maurice of Port Lambton, Ont. passed away peacefully on July 11, 2015 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Sue Brisebois (nee Wilson). Loving son of Lillianne Brisebois of Sudbury. Maurice is survived by his daughter Laureen (Jeff) Devereaux of Brigden; his stepsons Ed (Julie) DuPont of Corunna, Ted (Cheryl) DuPont of Fort Erie; grandchildren Jacob, Jessey, Jeremy, Ethan, Ben, Nicole, Daniel; siblings Sylvia (Terry) Rahn of Hanmer, Yvonne (Tom) Giambattista of Val Caron, Norm (Linda) Brisebois of Sudbury, Monique Severin of Sudbury, Gilles Brisebois of Sudbury, George Brisebois of Sudbury; several nieces and nephews; and by his dear friend Denis Trudeau. Predeceased by his father Laurier Brisebois, his siblings Wilfred, Linda and Louise. Moe had been an auto body specialist, restoring classic cars for many years, and racing cars in his younger days. He also loved to play music and was a member of various bands throughout his life. Moe loved life and always had a great smile, even during his courageous battle with lung cancer, remaining positive right to the end. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). In keeping Maurice’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Interment of ashes at a later date.
