Obituary of Carolyn Kneeshaw
KNEESHAW, Carolyn - Peacefully, in her 73rd year. Carolyn passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at the Valleyview Home in St. Thomas. Carolyn was the devoted wife and best friend of Ray Kneeshaw. Loving mother of Rob Kneeshaw of London and Dan Kneeshaw and his wife Melissa of St. Thomas, and loving and devoted grandmother of Jamie and Arlen. Survived by her sister, Sheila Leibold and her husband Al of Birmingham, MI; and by her nephews Mark Leibold and his wife Jackie of Easthampton, MA and Ross Leibold of Troy, MI. Predeceased by her father Carl Brown and mother Clara Brown (nee Lineham). Carolyn worked at the St. Thomas Public Library for 26 years as the Chief Librarian and CEO. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Thomas Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) 451 Wellington Street, St. Thomas on Thursday at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, donations to the St. Thomas Public Library, Valleyview Home, or the Alzheimer Society of Elgin-St. Thomas or a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged. Visitation
