Obituary of John Prance

PRANCE- John Alexander Prance passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the age of 75. John is survived by his loving wife Judy; his children John (Clarende) Prance of Calgary, Angela (Gord) Blackman of St. Thomas, and Dennis (Carla) Prance of London; grandchildren Jackson, Duncan, Benjamin, Allie, Kenda and Jordan; by four great grandchildren; his sister Hazel (Mark) Sims of St. Thomas; brother Ron (Luanne) Prance of St. Thomas; brother-in-law Clancy MacCallum of St. Thomas; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Margaret Prance. John worked as a machinist at B&M Auto Supply (NAPA Auto Parts) and enjoyed racing at St. Thomas Speedway Park. A private family gathering was held prior to cremation at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). A family graveside service will be held at Cowal-McBride Cemetery on a later date. If desired, donations to S.T.E.G.H.-Chemotherapy Department would be appreciated.
