Obituary of Beverly Anne Smith

SMITH - Beverly Anne (nee Silverthorn) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully on August 21, 2014 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Ken Smith. Bev is survived by children Jeff (Robyn) Smith of St. Thomas, Leanne (Mark) Wideman of Lefroy; grandchildren Brandon (Brianne) Smith, Justin Smith, Nathan Smith, Emily Wideman; sister Glenda (Cliff) Dunkeld, brothers-in-law Glenn (Judy) Smith, Eldon (Shirley) Smith; and by nieces and nephews Sue (Bill), Heather (George), Janet (Mark), Kevin (Janice), Katherine (Todd), Adam (Rebekah), Bryan (Elizabeth), and Michelle (Martin). Predeceased by nephew Kent Dunkeld. Bev had worked in the banking industry for many years and was an active member of Faith Church. Visitation will be held at Faith Church 345 Fairview Ave, St. Thomas on Monday, August 25 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm. A private funeral service will take place on Tuesday, with cremation to follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Interment at Heise Hill Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to Faith Church would be appreciated. Visitation Monday, August 25, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
