Obituary of Dorothy Bishop

BISHOP - Dorothy Ellen (nee Oliver) of St. Thomas, Ont. passed away peacefully at Caressant Care - Mary Bucke on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Jim Bishop. Dorothy is survived by children Fred (Ann) Bishop of St. Thomas, Keith (Linda) Bishop of Cambridge, Rick Bishop (Colleen) of Glencoe, Ron (Tammy) Bishop of Durham, and Roy (Cathy) Bishop of British Columbia. Dorothy will be missed by her ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers-in-law in England, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Tony Bishop, and her daughter Elizabeth Bishop. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (Thames Valley Congregation) 86 Base Line Rd. W., London, on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 1:30 pm. If desired, donations to Kingdom Hall (Thames Valley Congregation) would be appreciated.
