Obituary of Mary Forbes

FORBES - After a courageous battle, Mary Forbes (nee Faber) passed away at Hospice Wellington, on Monday June 30, 2014 in her 71st year. Beloved wife of the late David Forbes (2011). Loving sister to Bruce Faber (Joyce, deceased) of St. Thomas and Joan McBurney (Allen) of Elora. Predeceased by her brother John Faber and sister Nancy Crosby. Loved and forever remembered by many nieces and nephews. A special "Grandmary" to Kimberly and Carly Herbert of St. Thomas. Remembered for her kindness and generosity by many friends and neighbours. At Mary's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALS or Hospice Wellington. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00am, where the memorial service will be held, in the chapel at 11:00am.
