Obituary of Verona Sherwin

SHERWIN- Verona “Veronica” Sherwin (nee Colcerin) passed away, surrounded by her family, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, October 6, 2013 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of more than 50 years to husband Keith. Adored mother of Rosalie (Medeiros), Austin and his wife Pamela and Jeoffrey. Cherished grandmother of Jarrett, Kyle, Jacob and Benjamin. Fondly remembered as ”Billie" by her siblings, Dan, Anne and Pete of Kelowna, BC and Jean and George of Regina, SK. Sadly missed by her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). A private family gathering was held at the funeral home prior to cremation. A memorial service will be held on Monday October 14th at 3:00pm with a visitation one hour prior to service. Service to be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 9946 Talbotville Gore Rd, Talbotville, ON. If desired, donations to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society or an animal charity would be appreciated. Memorial Service Monday, October 14, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Visitation one hour prior to service.
