Obituary of William Ralph Lindsay

LINDSAY- William Ralph “Bill” Lindsay passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the age of 90. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Nellie; his daughter Sue (Ron) Gilmore of St. Thomas and his son Ralph (Susanne) Lindsay of London; his grandchildren Bob (Rosie) Gilmore and sons Jonathan, Max and Ryan of St. Thomas, Michael (Kathy) Gilmore and their son Drew of Burlington, Dave Gilmore and his sons Tyler and Preston of Texas, Nicholas Lindsay of London and Brent (Stephanie) Lindsay and their son Dylan of London; his sister Bonnie (Clifford) Crozier of Toronto; his sister-in-law Edith Allen of St. Thomas; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law Oliver Allen, Mac (Olive) McKinnon and Bill (Nell) Allen. Bill was a retired General Services Coordinator for the City of St. Thomas. Cremation has taken Place. A private graveside service was held in Elmdale Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).
