Obituary of Monica Elinor Anne Gebbie

GEBBIE - Monica Elinor Anne (nee Davies) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully on July 13, 2013 at the age of 78. Predeceased by her husband Robert Sidney Gebbie. Beloved mother of Janet (Hank) Neef; grandmother of Jennifer Scott and Liane Scott; great-grandmother of Micaela and Avery all of St. Thomas. Dearly missed by sisters Thelma Catt (the late Nelson) of Aylmer, Beverley (Ray) Eden of Seaforth and sisters-in-law Carole (Bob) Garnett of St. Thomas, Joan (George) Sorenson of Ilderton. Fondly remembered by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Lisa Gebbie (1975); and her brothers Doug Davies and Cyril Davies. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). A private graveside service will be held at Victoria Harbour Union Cemetery.
