Obituary of Russell John Sanders

Obituary SANDERS - Russell John of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital with family by his side on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Marilyn Sanders (nee Martyn). Russell is survived by his children John Sanders (Sherri) of St. Thomas, Heather Trelford (Doug Frank) of Strathroy, Kim Olver (Dave) of Port Stanley and Martyn Sanders (Carrie) of Ottawa. Dearly missed by grandchildren Alex, Duncan and Cameryn Sanders, Breanne Trelford (Matt Rooke), Rebecca Van Beest (Alex), Pyper and Rayne Olver and Ian and Colleen Sanders. Beloved great grandchildren Aubree and Wesley Rooke and Sawyer Van Beest. Russell will be sadly missed by his sister Helen Barnard (late Ralph) and brother Bill Sanders (late Gladys). Predeceased by brothers Richard “Dick” Sanders and Read Brown (late Judie). Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Private interment at a later date.
