Obituary of Alfred Edward Sivyer

Obituary It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Alfred 'Al' Edward Sivyer on January 17th at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital at the age of 83. He is survived by his loving partner of 39 years, Pat Carroll and their children Vicki (Roger) Gagen, Joanne (Chuck) Vanderwel, Chris (John) Stinson, Steve Sivyer, Ken Sivyer, David (Patty) Carroll and Rob Carroll. Also survived by his stepmother Gloria Bates, sisters Yvonne Chambers, Wendy Sivyer, Yvette (Paul) Ricker and brothers Gord (Connie) Sivyer and Rob Sivyer. He leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Ivan and Jenny Sivyer and two great grandchildren. A celebration of life will take place on Monday, January 21st at 12:00 noon at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) with visitation from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.
