Obituary of Albert McIntosh

MCINTOSH- Albert Thomas of St. Thomas, passed away at Terrace Lodge in Aylmer, surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the age of 74. Al is survived by his loving wife Madeline (nee McCaughey); by his children Mark (Lisa) McIntosh of St. Thomas and their children Naomi, Hannah, and Benjamin and Dan (Michelle) McIntosh and their daughter Macy; by his siblings Robert McIntosh of Renfrew, Roddie (Diane) McIntosh of London; by his sisters-in-law Lorraine Sinclair and Carol (Melvin) Carew all of London; and by his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Gussie McIntosh and Alice McIntosh (LeCointe) and his sister-in-law Alice Couture. Al was employed for over 32 years at Ford Motor Company-Talbotville. He was a parishioner of St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church and member of the Knights of Columbus. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Anne’s Parish on Saturday, December 30 at 11:00 am. A private interment of ashes will take place in St. Peter’s Cemetery on a later date.
