Obituary of Tara Margaret Jones

JONES - Tara Margaret of St. Thomas passed away after a 4+ year battle with a brain tumor on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the age of 54. Tara is survived by her brothers Rev. Stephen Jones (Kim), their children Mark, Erin and Robyn; and Phillip Jones (Vicky), and their children Matt and Brad. She is also survived by three great nephews and two great nieces. Predeceased by her parents Maurice and June Jones. Tara was a fish and wildlife technician and spent many years in northern Ontario. She loved fishing, canoeing and wilderness camping. Tara was a proud member of STPA. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Cremation has already taken place. Visitation will be held at the St. Thomas Pentecostal Assembly, 144 Wellington Street, St. Thomas on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment of ashes at a later date.
