Obituary of Donald Gary Maedel

MAEDEL- Donald Gary of St. Thomas passed away, surrounded by his loving family, at University Hospital in London, on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the age of 65. Don is survived by his loving wife Darlene of St. Thomas; his son Ian of St. Thomas; by his mother Edna Maedel (late Donald 2017); by his sisters Nancy Bol of London and Sue (Jack) Huber of St. Thomas; his brother-in-law Melvin (late June) Reeb; his sister-in-law Mabelann (Jesse) Mathis; and by his many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the Masonic Centre of Elgin 42703 Fruit Ridge Line, St. Thomas on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm. Cremation to follow. A private interment of ashes will be held in Greenhill Cemetery, Kingsville. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).
