Obituary of Cecil Robert Comrie

COMRIE – Cecil Robert of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved partner of Edna Buck. Cecil was predeceased by his wife Marlene Comrie (nee Bury) in 2001. Cecil is survived by his children Larry (Christine) of London, Debbie Hamilton (Scott) of Ottawa, Kim Crocker (Greg White) of St. Thomas and Shelley Banghart (Jim) of St. Thomas. Loving grandfather of Lawren Comrie, Christopher Comrie, Glenn Comrie (Danika), John Hamilton, Sarah Hamilton, Jeff Crocker, Corey Crocker, Alex Banghart and Sean Banghart. Great Grandfather of Ava and Layla Hamilton. Cecil was a retired captain in the RCAF, an avid runner and took great pride in providing volunteer service to St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. The family would like to thank the 5th floor staff for their compassion and care. Arrangements entrusted to SHAWN JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).
