Obituary of Lynda Mae Jenner
JENNER - Lynda-Mae (nee Prong) of Strathroy. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynda-Mae at the age of 76 as a result of an automobile accident near Cambridge, Ontario. Lynda-Mae is survived by her husband Larry Jenner; her sons Troy (Sheri) and their daughters Katie and Rian of Guelph, and Mark (Alicia) and their son Alex of Southwold; by her brothers Fred of St. Thomas and Ron (Lynda) of Sparta. Lynda-Mae was born in St. Thomas. Her education included Anger Public School, Aylmer High School, and Alma College in St. Thomas. Lynda and Larry were married in 1969 in the Alma College Chapel. A happy person, she enjoyed playing cards, music, dancing and especially sewing and quilting. During the past few years, she organized many social events at Metcalfe Pines. Lynda was predeceased by her parents Ray Prong and Olive Prong (nee Anderson), her sisters Donna-Rae and Betty-Lou. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. The celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. A private interment of ashes will be held in Fingal Cemetery. If desired, donations to Strathroy-Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
